By working closely with key business partners in the community in both the design and delivery stage of each programmes, we are able to ensure that the programme content reflects the real business world; its challenges and modern day practices. This will ensure that the skills developed as a result of our programmes are transferable to the work place. Building vital links with the business community is fundamental to the success of our programmes and will include supporting specific components of the Diploma Qualifications. By exposing young people to different people from the business community we are able to give them the opportunity to learn from the career motivations and aspirations of others.

Our current project in Thurrock is funded by the East of England Development Agency in association with Thurrock Council and Shaping Thurrock Partnership. This project alone has assisted 3300 young people in skills development programmes. Other successful projects include the Skill Development Programme in Southend Essex which is funded by EEDA through Southend Together. This project has reached 2200 young people in the area giving them the opportunity to develop key transferable skills and raise their aspirations for the future.
