Enterprise skills for the work place programme
This programme is designed to develop key transferable employability skills and an understanding of key roles and responsibilities in the work place. The activity based programme is designed in line with the Framework for Careers and Work Related Learning and engages the support of key business partners.
This engagement is a crucial component of the programme which aims to build vital sustainable links between the school and business. The business input is also key to ensuring the success of specific areas of the diploma qualification. Each student is given the opportunity to identify their skill strengths and take on a role for the day which best suits these particular skills. The business partner has a key role in the design of the business challenges ensuring they reflect the needs of today’s businesses.
